An Inspiring Evening Honoring Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals in Summit County

Frisco, CO – January 27, 2025 – Women of the Summit hosted a celebration Thursday night at Vine Street Social to honor the recipients of the 3rd Annual Women@Work Grants. The event brought together community members, supporters, and inspiring women from across Summit County to recognize the remarkable achievements of this year’s winners.
Nearly $25,000 in funding was awarded to female entrepreneurs and professionals to support their businesses and career growth. The evening highlighted not just the innovative projects of the recipients but also the transformative impact of women in our community.
The event featured stories from the grant winners, including:
Molly Datz, a program management professional advancing her career through certifications and coaching.
Yessinia Vinueza, a dedicated public policy student and youth program leader, pursuing her master’s degree at CU.
Shannon Rone Jakoby, owner of SheShedThatDesigns, upgrading equipment to boost efficiency and productivity.
Rachel Jones, owner of Hypnotic Hands Massage, investing in certifications and training to broaden her services.
Laura Holland: Practice Manager at Peaks Urgent Care, investing in X-Ray Operator training.
Debbi Anderson, owner of Vine Street Social, expanding marketing efforts and enhancing the venue’s growth.
Nicole Valentine, a life coach and professional athlete helping women to achieve their greatest potential through Nicole Valentine Coaching.
Women of the Summit received dozens of applications specifically seeking marketing and business planning support for business owners. It was by far the most common item requested. A consistent theme was the variety of data, pricing, business plan quality and forecasted ROI results to back up the impact these marketing dollars can make upon your salary goals.
In recognition of the need, Women of the Summit was pleased to offer a $1000 Marketing Boost Grant (payable upon completion of Business Plan Boot Camp, and Complimentary enrollment in upcoming Business Plan Boot Camp to the following women:

The Women@Work Grant program exemplifies Women of the Summit’s mission to connect, champion, and invest in women, helping close the gender pay gap and driving sustainable community growth.
